During the Barcelona mission, Alosenta joined senior leaders from global organisations including AstraZeneca, Bayer and Smith & Nephew, alongside clinicians and innovation teams from Hospital Clinic Barcelona. Discussions focused on potential collaboration in advanced therapeutics, clinical partnerships, and opportunities to accelerate innovation through cross-border cooperation.
The delegation also engaged with representatives from ACCIÓ and Biocat, reflecting strong support from the Catalan regional government for international partnerships. The meetings highlighted shared ambitions to drive innovation, strengthen UK–Spain collaboration, and build new pathways for research, clinical validation and commercialisation.
