Kill The Illness, Not The Patient

At Alosenta, our vision is to improve treatments using computational chemistry & machine learning for safer & more effective therapies.

At Alosenta, we are transforming drug discovery and delivery…

Drug development faces a major problem, with over 90% of clinical trials failing—nearly half due to toxicity and pharmacokinetics—driving costs up to around $2.6B per drug and causing significant patient side effects. Our solution focuses on improving prediction accuracy in drug development, which can reduce failures, lower costs by up to ~$100M per drug, and minimise adverse effects for patients.

We are focusing on high-impact areas including oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, female health, and client-specific applications such as antibodies, sports medicine, and transdermal therapies.

Through AI-driven drug discovery and delivery, we are advancing breakthrough treatments to reach millions.

Company History

The inception of Alosenta is a story of fortuitous coincidence, scientific discovery and entrepreneurial vision — almost as if the company was destined to exist.

In 2022, Inna Zhuranskaya CDir met Iryna Peretiazhko, a young Ukrainian scientist whom she had helped settle in the UK. Iryna subsequently joined King’s College London School of Basic & Medical Biosciences, where her supervisor was Dr. Julien Bergeron, whose research focused on targeted drug-delivery technologies for oncology. Iryna introduced Inna to Julien and his research to assess its commercial potential.

With more than two decades of experience in private equity and investment management, Inna recognised that the opportunity extended far beyond drug delivery. Under her leadership, Alosenta has evolved into a vertically integrated computational chemistry and AI platform for drug discovery, optimisation and translational development, spanning the therapeutic pipeline from discovery and optimisation to toxicology, polypharmacology and drug combinations. Dr. Ludovico Pipito, a computational chemist and AI specialist, subsequently joined as co-founder, bringing expertise in computational drug design and AI. Following Dr. Bergeron’s return to academia, Alosenta continues to build on the scientific foundations of his work while advancing its vision of an AI-driven, vertically integrated therapeutics platform.

Today, Alosenta combines computational chemistry, AI, protein engineering and advanced drug delivery to develop safer, more effective therapies for oncology, women’s health, neurodegenerative diseases and other areas of unmet medical need.
